Iraqi Airways to Resume UK Service from March 2013

After 23 years of service suspension, Iraqi Airways from 05MAR13 resumes service to United Kingdom. The airline will operate 2 weekly Baghdad – London Gatwick and 1 weekly Sulaymaniyah – London Gatwick flights, where both will operate via Malmo on outbound flights. It intends to operate 6 weekly flights by mid-June 2013.

The airline on its UK website did not specify which type of aircraft it plans to operate, but the airline said it has received new A320, A321 and A330 aircraft.
