Lufthansa W15 Long-Haul Operation Changes as of 31OCT14

As of 31OCT14, initial changes to Lufthansa Winter 2015/16 long-haul operation, effective 25OCT15, as follow. Further changes expected in the next few months.

Frankfurt – Jeddah – Addis Ababa A340-600 replaces A330-300 on daily basis, including introduction of Premium Economy
Frankfurt – Kuala Lumpur – Jakarta Service operates 5 weekly, however operational aircraft switches from A340-300 to 3-class Boeing 747-400 (no First Class)
Frankfurt – Mumbai Planned A380 service tentatively scheduled to replace 747-400
Frankfurt – Rio de Janeiro Boeing 747-8I replaces 747-400, daily service
Munich – New York JFK A330-300 operating, replacing A340-600 from 12OCT15
