Ethiopian Airlines Adjusts Southern Africa Service from July 2016

Ethiopian Airlines from 01JUL16 is adjusting operations for Southern Africa, which sees service changes for Johannesburg, Cape Town and Gaborone. Planned service changes as follow.

Addis Ababa – Cape Town ET846/847 2 weekly service will be doubled to 4 weekly (No operations in June)

Addis Ababa – Gaborone Gaborone service will be operating as terminator service, no longer extends to Cape Town. Overall service reduces from 4 to 3 weekly with 737-800

Addis Ababa – Johannesburg – Cape Town Service increase from 3 to 4 weekly, operational aircraft switches from Boeing 737-800 to Boeing 787-8

Overall service to Johannesburg increases from 10 to 11 weekly, with additional capacity increase as a result of aircraft change
