JAL Cargo drops San Francisco and Atlanta

JAL today announced the change of its North American cargo operation.

The airline will drop San Francisco and Atlanta all-freighter flight, and the number of routes will be cut by 50%, from 8 weekly to 4. But the weekly frequency is reduced from 21 to 19 weekly.

Atlanta and San Francisco will be served through Road Feeder Service/RFS.

The change is adjusted followed by the decision to accelerate the retirement of 747-200F, which it will retire 2 in 2007.
