Emirates Ends Malaysia - Australia Service in Oct 2016

Emirates in Northern winter season is ending service between Malaysia and Australia, as the airline cancels Kuala Lumpur – Melbourne sector, effective 30OCT16. Previously planned schedule as follow.

EK408 DXB0300 – 1350KUL1530 – 0205+1MEL 77W D
EK409 MEL0335 – 0825KUL0950 – 1300DXB 77W D

Emirates started Kuala Lumpur – Melbourne sector in Feb 2010. EK408/409 service will be operating as Dubai – Melbourne nonstop on board 777-300ER from 30OOCT16, while Dubai – Kuala Lumpur route being reduced from 4 to 3 daily.

Reservation for the EK408/409 nonstop Melbourne service will be gradually reflected in the inventory in the next few days. Emirates also operates 1 daily Dubai – Singapore – Melbourne service with A380.
