Lufthansa / Air France extends Cape Town to year-round service in 2017

Star Alliance member Lufthansa and Skyteam member Air France in recent schedule update both converted Cape Town operation to year-round, instead of Northern winter only. Both European carriers will serve Cape Town 3 times a week for Northern summer season. Planned operation as follow.

Frankfurt – Cape Town Lufthansa operates Mainline A340-300 configuration aircraft, with overnight flight in both direction

LH577 CPT1740 – 0540+1FRA 343 146

Paris CDG – Cape Town Air France will continue operate this route on/after 01MAY17, operational aircraft switches to A330-200
