United adds Boeing 777-300ER Taipei service from Aug 2017

United Airlines during Friday evening’s schedule update (19MAY17) filed aircraft changes for San Francisco – Taipei Taoyuan route, currently served by Boeing 747-400 on daily basis. From 01AUG17 (03AUG17 from TPE), Boeing 777-300ER aircraft will replace the 747 on this route.

Reservation for First Class cabin on the 747 was closed earlier in the day, and switched to 777-300ER around 0000hrs GMT. Previously reported, preliminary schedule for summer 2018 season would see the 787-9 aircraft operating Taipei service from 05MAY18.
