China Airlines S18 service changes as of 22NOV17

China Airlines this week filed first major changes to its summer 2018 operation, effective from 25MAR18. Initial changes as follows.
Taipei Taoyuan – Bangkok eff 25MAR18 CI833/834 A350-900XWB replaces 747-400
Taipei Taoyuan – Guam eff 25MAR18 Service operates 5 weekly, instead of previously filed 4
Taipei Taoyuan – Honolulu eff 25MAR18 A350-900XWB continues to operate 2 weekly, replacing previously filed A330
Taipei Taoyuan – London Gatwick eff 27MAR18 Increase from 4 to 5 weekly, new service on Day 2
Taipei Taoyuan – Miyazaki eff 06MAR18 Increase from 2 to 3 weekly. New frequency is extended into summer season in this week’s update
Taipei Taoyuan – New York JFK eff 25MAR18 Previously filed 5th weekly service cancelled. CI continues to operate this route 4 times a week with 777-300ER
Taipei Taoyuan – Okinawa eff 25MAR18 A350-900XWB operates CI122/123 3 times a week
Taipei Taoyuan – Sydney eff 25MAR18 Northern summer season operates 11 weekly (CI055/056 Day x136) instead of 14 weekly. A350 operation
Taipei Taoyuan – Tokyo Narita 28MAR18 – 27JUN18 Boeing 747-400 operates Tokyo Narita route once again, as CI100/101 on Wednesdays
Taipei Taoyuan – Urumqi 3 weekly seasonal service revised to 02SEP18 – 27OCT18 only, however reservation is not available
