Finnair W18 long-haul changes as of 10JAN18

Finnair yesterday (10JAN18) updated planned long-haul service for winter 2018/19 season, including a number of frequency increases. Planned changes, based on comparison with winter 2017/18 season, as follows.

Helsinki – Bangkok Planned A350-900XWB operation revised from 9 to 8 weekly. Overall service during winter is 16 weekly
Helsinki – Delhi
eff 12DEC18 Increase from 6 to 7 weekly, A330-300 operating
Helsinki – Havana Winter seasonal service operated by A330-300, 2 weekly (Replacing A350 in 1Q18)
Helsinki – Hong Kong eff 07DEC18 Increase from 10 to 12 weekly, A350-900XWB operating
Helsinki – Nagoya eff 29OCT18 Increase from 5 to 7 weekly, A330-300 operating
Helsinki – Osaka Kansai eff 28OCT18 Increase from 5 to 7 weekly, A330-300 operating
Helsinki – Phuket eff 09DEC18 Increase from 3 to 4 weekly, A350-900XWB operating
Helsinki – Puerto Plata Winter seasonal service operated by A330-300, 1 weekly (Replacing A350 in 1Q18)

Helsinki – Nanjing eff 28OCT18 Service operates as year-round, with 2 weekly flights during winter season, instead of 3 in summer.
