Kingfisher to launch new Dubai service

Kingfisher Airlines will launch non stop scheduled service from its Delhi base to Dubai. The route will commence from April 24 and will be operated on a daily rotation with A320 aircraft. Kingfisher currently serves Dubai from Bangalore on a daily rotation
Kingfisher will face strong competition on the sector which includes the following carriers;
- Emirates- 28 x weekly
- Jet AIrways 7x weekly
- Air India 7x weekly
- GMG Airlines 5x weekly
IATA BSP data (Airport IS) shows that over 519,000 flew the route in the 12 month period between Dec 08-09 with Emirates leading the way with a 45% market share.
