Star Alliance member Egyptair has announced that it will commence non-stop service from its Cairo hub to Toronto. The new service will begin June 11^th and will be operated on a thrice-weekly basis with B777 equipment. There is currently non non-stop service on this sector, although between September 2009 and September 2010, nearly 60,000 O+D passengers flew the route according to IATA BSP data (Airport IS).
