Glasgow to Bulgaria direct for summer

The UK’s Glasgow Prestwick Airport and Balkan Holidays have teamed up
to offer flights to the Black Sea coastal resort of Bourgas in Bulgaria during summer 2009.

The flights will operate once a week during June and July and mark a return to the airport for Balkan Holidays who last flew out of the gateway in 2005.

Mark Rodwell, chief executive of Glasgow Prestwick Airport, says: “We would like to welcome Balkan Holidays back to our airport and we are excited about these flights to one of Europe’s increasingly popular destinations. We are confident Bulgaria and the Black Sea resorts surrounding Bourgas will prove
popular among Scots looking for great value beach resorts and plenty of sunshine.”
