Draft diaries will be available to view online through the Meeting Requests System from Wednesday 19th June which will allow all delegates to view the status of their meetings and assist in their preparations.

Preparing for your Meetings
The system also provides delegates with the perfect platform to request and prepare for their meetings at Routes Africa as, during the requesting process, access to Routesonline company profiles is available helping delegates select the right companies to meet with by providing all the information Routesonline has to offer straight to the central meeting requests page.

Company profiles on Routesonline can provide you with a wealth of information about the company you’re meeting with. Hotel and Flight Information
If you have not yet secured your flights and hotel reservation, you should do so as soon as possible to avoid disappointment. This year’s Routes Africa event will take place at the Speke Resort and Conference Centre, Munyono, located at the shores of Lake Victoria.

The resort is ten minutes drive from the City centre (Kampala) and this hotel hosted most of the Commonwealth Heads of Government Meetings in 2007. It offers Routes Africa delegates an excellent level of accommodation and leisure facilities together with the finest conference and business meeting location in East Africa.

A preferential rate for Routes Africa delegates is available. Click here for full details on this offer and information on how to book.

This year Kenya Airways, Air Uganda and Ethiopian Airlines have all signed up as official carriers for Routes Africa 2013 and all three airlines are pleased to be able to extend a special offer of a 10% discount to all Routes Africa delegates travelling to Uganda.

Click here for further information and to take advantage of one of these generous offers.

If you have already booked your flight and hotel accommodation for Routes Africa, please ensure the details are forwarded to Victoria Jay to help facilitate event transfers.

Visa Requirements
Make sure you have all the necessary documentation to travel to Uganda. Foreigners wishing to travel to Uganda for business may require a visa for entry into the country though entry visas are not required for nationals from some countries especially Commonwealth countries and those with reciprocal agreements with Uganda. Delegates are therefore advised to ascertain whether or not they are exempt from the Ugandan visa requirements at their respective embassies.

If a visa is necessary you should apply well in advance from the Ugandan High Commission or Embassy in your country of residence or on arrival at Entebbe International Airport. Please note: You will be required to pay $50 USD on arrival at the airport.

In addition to the visa application form, relevant fees and photos, embassies may also require a letter of invitation from the inviting company. Delegates requiring such a document should contact Victoria Jay, Registration manager for Routes.

The above information should ensure you’re prepared for Routes Africa 2013...we’ll see you in Kampala!
