The Routes Awards are highly regarded as the most valuable awards in the industry, as they are voted for and judged by you, the airline network planning community.
The annual World Routes Marketing Awards provide the airline community with the chance to have their say as to which airport they think provides the best overall marketing services to them. Whether it be about their particular relationship, effective results, provision of data and information or innovative techniques to establish new or maintain and develop existing routes.
They were created in 1997 to recognise excellence in airport marketing as voted for by airlines. Today, these awards are widely regarded as the most sought after awards in the industry.

Winners of these highly regarded awards will be announced during a ceremony which will take place at the World Routes Networking Evening on Monday 21 September which will take place at the Moses Mabhida Stadium in Durban.
Automatically shortlisted for the World Routes Marketing Awards for their categories are Austin-Bergstrom International Airport, Tourism Australia, Brussels Airport and Dubai International Airport as a result of being announced as overall winners of the Americas, Asia and Europe and Middle East & African heats, respectively.
