Star Alliance carrier South African Airways has announced plans for a new route from its main base in Johannesburg to the capital city of Cameroon Douala.

The new service will commence on Mar 31 2009 and will be operated on a 2x weekly basis with B737-800 aircraft. From June 6th the service will be operated with an additional weekly frequency.
