New for 2016, Routes Europe will also feature Routes Talks, a series of 20 minute presentations delivered by leading experts within the field. The talks will mainly centre on route development, but will also include information on data handling and how new regulations may affect the aviation industry in the future. The new bmi regional route will feature as one of the Routes Talks to be discussed at the event. The new twice daily international link between Lufthansa’s Bavarian hub in Munich and Southampton in the UK was selected by readers of Routesonline from a shortlist of ten new air links to be discussed at Routes Europe.
This year’s event, will of course also feature the Routes Europe Strategy Summit, where over 20 leading experts will debate a number of industry topics through a series of moderator-led panel discussions. Hot topics to be debated include: The regional carrier trends in Europe, who are the innovators and drivers of change in the European aviation market? and what the European Aviation Strategy means for airlines. A series of presentations will also take place throughout the summit including a presentation by Ascend titled Boeing 787: The hub-buster busted? And presentations from the sponsors of this year’s Strategy Summit, Air BP and Embraer.
