World Routes Awards 2010
Congratulations to all winners from this year's World Routes Awards!
The World Routes Airport Marketing Awards are unique in the industry recognizing excellence in air service development as voted for by airlines. The best people to judge the effectiveness of any airport marketing campaign are its primary customers - The Airline Networking Planning Community.
Airline managers nominated up to five airports whose marketing efforts over the past 12 months (since World Routes in Beijing) have made a real impact on their future network development plans. All airlines should be considering the efficient and useful marketing activities of any airport on their network, by geographical region, irrespective of airport size.
The following criteria was used as a guideline to airlines wishing to place their vote;
- The airport's market research activities
- The airport's marketing communications
- The airport's business case presentations for new marketing opportunities
- The airport's joint communication campaigns with third parties
- The airport's relationship with its airline partners
Please note that all network planning executives and those involved in the route development process both on a local and international planning basis were entitled to vote.
