About The Airline
Recognized as the World’s Best New Airline at the CAPA Awards 2023, with the second-youngest fleet in the Americas and the third-youngest globally, Arajet was founded with a clear mission: to transform aviation in the Dominican Republic and strengthen connectivity across the Americas, positioning the Caribbean as a key bridge between South and North America. In just three years of operations, that vision has become a story of accelerated growth and unprecedented achievements. From its strategic hubs in Santo Domingo (SDQ) and Punta Cana (PUJ), at the heart of the Caribbean, Arajet has opened new doors to air travel, connecting the Americas with affordable fares, flexible bundles, and an authentic Dominican service experience.
Since launching operations in 2022, Arajet has transported over 3 million passengers and built a network of 26 destinations across 15 countries, supported by a modern fleet of Boeing 737 MAX 8 aircraft. The airline is the first Dominican carrier in 30 years to obtain IATA membership and the first to achieve IOSA registration, reaffirming its commitment to the highest international standards of safety and operational excellence. In 2026, Arajet will continue its expansion with the launch of Mendoza and Rosario, its third and fourth routes in Argentina, further strengthening connectivity between the Americas via the Caribbean.
