About The Airline

Shenzhen Airlines was founded in 1992 and is China's fourth-largest majority airline. It is a state-owned enterprise with two shareholders: Air China Limited and the Shenzhen Municipal People's Government. To date, the airline has safely accumulated over 8.5 million flight hours, a commitment recognized in 2019 with the prestigious "Five-Star Flight Safety Award" from the Civil Aviation Administration of China.

As a leading airline based in Shenzhen, Shenzhen Airlines is appointed as the exclusive operator of Shenzhen Airport's international aviation hub by CAAC and NDRC (National Development and Reform commission). And it plans to strategically expand its intercontinental network based on existing Asian market. Future development will emphasize route deployment to the Middle East, Europe, and Australia, progressively building a global route structure while consolidating its Asian market presence.

By the end of Nov. 30th 2025, Shenzhen Airlines operate with 8 branches, 6 bases, 3 wholly-owned subsidiaries, and 66 domestic and international offices, with a combined fleet of 230 aircraft, which includes its subsidiary Kunming Airlines. Its route network comprehensively covers domestic provincial capitals, key Chinese cities, Hong Kong/Macao/Taiwan regions, as well as international destinations including the UK, Spain, Qatar, Japan, South Korea, and Southeast Asian countries, transporting nearly 40 million passengers annually.
