Floripa Airport begins construction of intermodal terminal and new parking lot.
Florianópolis International Airport is starting two important projects this month aimed at improving the passenger experience and modernizing its infrastructure.
With a total investment of R$ 10 million, the projects include the construction of a new parking lot and the implementation of an intermodal terminal, both scheduled for completion by the end of 2025.
The intermodal terminal will feature a complete structure, including a roof, boarding and disembarking areas for intercity and interstate buses, as well as tourist vans. The new infrastructure will be installed in front of the Panoramic Terrace.
The pedestrian walkway between the bus terminal, the airport passenger terminal, and the Panoramic Terrace will also be covered, ensuring greater convenience for visitors.
The parking facility project aims to offer more comfort to passengers and increase the availability of parking spaces. The total area will be 9,000 m² and will be located next to the Docas parking lot, on the left side of the terminal.
Both projects follow the architectural style of the passenger terminal and Boulevard 14/32, with translucent roof tiles to take advantage of natural lighting. The integrated landscaping, combined with modern and sustainable materials, reinforces Floripa Airport's commitment to the mobility and well-being of travelers.
