Vitória Airport consolidates its prominent position among the best in the country.

For the third consecutive year, Vitória Airport holds the second-place ranking among the best airports in Brazil.

This prominent position was revealed at the most important award ceremony in the sector in Brazil, promoted by the National Secretariat of Civil Aviation (SAC), through the Ministry of Ports and Airports.

The airport in the capital of Espírito Santo obtained the second-best average overall passenger satisfaction score, regardless of category, among the 20 largest airports surveyed throughout 2024. Vitória achieved a score of 4.63, on a scale of 1 to 5. In first place in the ranking, for the fifth consecutive year, is Florianópolis Airport, also managed by Zurich Airport Brasil, with a score of 4.72.

The “Aviation + Brazil” awards were presented this week in Brasília, recognizing airports that excelled in the quality of services provided to passengers. In total, approximately 99,000 users were surveyed. This is the third time Vitória has come in second place. In 2022 and 2023, the airport also held second place in passenger evaluations.

Airport-related services were the highest rated by passengers in Vitória. The location and accessibility category stood out, scoring 4.63 on a scale of 1 to 5. Passengers rated signage, availability of flight information displays, and terminal accessibility. Committed to providing the best possible experience for airport users, Zurich Airport Brasil develops projects focused on passenger well-being, hospitality, and comfort. The quality of internet service and terminal cleanliness, as well as thermal and acoustic comfort, contributed to the positive evaluations related to the airport environment.

“Over the years, our operations have become a benchmark for quality in service delivery. Having Vitória Airport once again occupy a prominent place in this ranking is gratifying, in addition to proving the consistency of the work we develop and reaffirming our ability to deliver the best passenger experience,” says Ricardo Gesse, CEO of Zurich Airport Brazil.

Respondents evaluated 20 items related to infrastructure, service, and amenities, encompassing the passenger experience and including airport processes such as security screening and services like Wi-Fi, cleanliness, thermal comfort, availability of power outlets, and audio announcements to passengers.
