Astana International Airport was founded in 1931 as small-size airport for handling small aircrafts. Nowadays, 90 years after, it’s one of the most modern airports on the Eurasian continent

At Astana Airport, there are two passenger terminals: one for domestic and one for international flights. In 2024, Astana Airport handled 8.3 million passengers and more than 16,000 flights. Every day, the airport serves over 100 flights and 25,000 passengers.
A total of 25 airlines operate at Astana Airport, including 20 international and 5 domestic carriers. From Astana, you can fly to 40 different destinations.
