Vnukovo Airport has served 15 million passengers since the beginning of 2019

On August 20, Vnukovo International Airport served a 15 millionth passenger from the beginning of the year in a record early time. In 2018, a similar indicator was reached on September 10.

The record indicator is ensured by the constant development of the airport infrastructure, the dynamic growth of traffic volumes of the airport's partner airlines and, most importantly, due to the choice of passengers themselves.

Vnukovo International Airport is one of the largest air transport complexes in Russia. Annually about 200 thousand flights of Russian and foreign airlines are served at the airport. The route network of the airport covers the entire territory of Russia, as well as neighboring countries, Europe, America, Asia and Africa.

In 2018, Vnukovo International Airport broke a historical record and served 21 million 478 thousand passengers, which is 18.4% or 3 million 340 thousand passengers more than in 2017.

The Vnukovo airport complex with a total area of ‚Äč‚Äčabout 300 thousand square meters. m is able to provide a capacity of up to 35 million passengers per year.

Vnukovo International Airport, the only one among the airports in Russia, has the Gratitude of the President of the Russian Federation V.V. Putin for the achieved labor successes and high rates in professional activity.
