Travel Guidance
We are regularly monitoring travel guidance for international delegates attending Routes Americas. Our travel team has provided information and answers to common queries below.
Do I need a visa to travel into Brazil?
Many nationalities can enter Brazil without a visa for up to 90 days, this visa exemption covers conference attendance and tourism. This includes citizens from:

For USA, Canada and Australian passport holders, starting April 10 2025, a mandatory e-Visa is required to enter Brazil. An E-Visa must be obtained before travelling to Brazil.
The same rules apply to citizens from the United States, Canada and Australia travelling for tourism, business and airport transit purposes.
How do I apply for an E-Visa?
Applications must be submitted through the official e-Visa portal: https://brazil.vfsevisa.com/.
Please note, this policy is currently under legislative review and changes may occur based on final decisions from Brazilian authorities.
