About The Airline
Pegasus is the leading low-cost airline in Turkiye, which provides reasonably-priced transportation opportunities on point-to-point basis in short and medium range flight lines and aims to set up a wide flight network with high flight frequency for guests.
Pegasus Airlines was founded in 1990 as a charter airline, after which it was acquired by ESAS Holding in 2005, and re-launched as a scheduled low-cost airline. Pegasus offers its guests low-fares and punctual flights operated with the newest aircraft as Turkey’s first and leading low-cost airline, and one of the region’s aviation frontrunners.
Pegasus has a growing network of 153 destinations, including 38 in Turkiye and 115 international destinations in 54 countries across Europe, Russia and the Caucasus, the Middle East, North Africa and Asia. In 2023, Pegasus carried over 37.5M guests including 14.1M domestic and 23.4M international guests in its network.

Pegasus Airlines placed its largest-ever aircraft order in December 2024, with 200 Boeing 737-10 aircraft (100 firm, 100 optional). Deliveries of the firm orders will begin in 2028. Our CEO Güliz Öztürk stated the order supports Türkiye’s tourism goals and Pegasus’ growth plans.
