About The Airport

Ostend-Bruges airport plays a crucial role within the airport network in Flanders. EGIS is responsible for commercial operation.

Every year, hundreds of thousands of passengers travel to sunny destinations via Ostend-Bruges Airport. Travelers can choose from a wide range of sunny destinations. Travelers can always count on a relaxed departure thanks to the short walking distances and fast turnaround times. In addition to tourist flights, the airport is also active in business and private aviation. For this purpose, a brand new Business Terminal was opened in 2019, operated by the North Sea Aviation Center (NSAC).

Ostend-Bruges Airport is also fully equipped as a cargo airport. Two major cargo handlers operate at the airport (Aviapartner and Bcube.) Since 2020, the traded cargo volume at the airport increased by 107% to 51.200 tons in 2022. The airport will therefore invest heavily in the cargo segment in the next few years. To this end, a "Cargo Village" will be built in cooperation with Versluys Logistics over the next few years to provide more than 48,000 m2 of new warehouse facilities. The first phase of the projecct will be fininished in the first half of 2023.
