𝗖𝗼𝗹𝗹𝗮𝗯𝗼𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗞𝗲𝘆 𝘁𝗼 𝗨𝗻𝗹𝗼𝗰𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗧𝗲𝗿𝗿𝗶𝘁𝗼𝗿𝘆’𝘀 𝗧𝗼𝘂𝗿𝗶𝘀𝗺 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗜𝗻𝘃𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗣𝗼𝘁𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗮𝗹

Hosted by the Hon. Marie-Clare Boothby MLA, Minister for Tourism and Hospitality and Major Events, the Tourism and Transport Forum (TTF) and Friends of Tourism NT networking event at Parliament House brought together industry leaders, business representatives, government stakeholders and members of the Tourism and Events NT Advisory Board.

The event provided a valuable opportunity to discuss the opportunities and challenges shaping the Territory’s visitor economy, strengthen industry connections and recognise the important role of TTF in advocating for Australia’s tourism and transport sectors.

As the owner and operator of Darwin International Airport, Alice Springs Airport and Tennant Creek Airport, as well as Darwin Airport Resorts, Airport Development Group (ADG) plays an important role in connecting the Northern Territory with domestic and international markets.

Our airports, hospitality and tourism assets support the Territory’s visitor economy while contributing to trade, investment, employment, and regional connectivity.
ADG Chief Executive Officer Tony Edmondstone said strong industry advocacy and collaboration would be essential to supporting the Territory’s future growth.

“TTF plays an important role in bringing industry together and ensuring the Northern Territory has a strong, united voice. Its ability to advocate nationally and internationally, while connecting industry and government, is incredibly important.”

TTF Chief Executive Officer Margy Osmond said partnerships between industry, business and government would be critical to unlocking the Territory’s potential.
“The Northern Territory has enormous potential as a tourism and investment destination, and unlocking that potential requires industry, business and government to work together.”

Connectivity remains central to ADG’s role in supporting the Territory’s growth. Through our airports, hospitality assets, tourism partnerships, and support for major events, we are proud to play our part in strengthening the visitor economy and creating opportunities for communities across the Northern Territory.
