On the sidelines of Routes World 2026, Thai Minh Diem Tu, Chief Brand Officer of Masterise Aviation Infrastructure, spoke to Aviation Week about the brand behind Gia Binh International Airport (GBIA), the new international gateway for Hanoi and Northern Vietnam.

A brand rooted in Vietnam

The GBIA brand draws on the philosophy of Heaven, Earth and Humanity, bringing Vietnamese culture into the airport’s architecture, design, service and passenger experience. Its promise is Uplifting Every Journey.

What it means for passengers and partners

  • Service: Skytrax five-star standards, with the passenger at the centre of the design.
  • Technology: digital tools and artificial intelligence across the journey for smoother, more personal service.
  • Destination: architecture, retail, dining, entertainment and culture that make the airport a place to visit in its own right.
  • Economy: an “Aviation Economic Hub 2.0” and an “Aerotropolis 2.0” airport city, and a platform for airlines, international brands and investors.
