Chongqing Jiangbei International Airport is positioned by the Civil Aviation Administration of China (CAAC) as one of China's seven national gateway-composite international aviation hubs. It is one of the airports implementing the 240-hour transit visa-free policy in China. The airport is only 19km from the CBD, with an airfield area class of 4F.
