Düsseldorf Airport (DUS) handled over 21 million passengers in 2025 and is expected to see further growth in 2026, making it the fourth largest airport in Germany. Ideally located in the Rhine-Ruhr region, DUS serves a catchment area of over 18 million inhabitants, being the largest and most densely populated region in continental Europe. The airport benefits from a very strong economic environment and is the second largest catchment in Europe, just after Greater London.
