Air traffic at Eindhoven Airport is increasing again

Air traffic at Eindhoven Airport will increase considerably from July after a period with a very limited number of flights per day (due to the corona pandemic).

According to schedule, about forty flights a day will depart from Thursday 2 July. The number of daily flights increases further in July and August. Ryanair will start expanding the flight schedule on Wednesday 1 July. In recent months, this airline operated a very limited number of flights per week at Eindhoven Airport. In July Ryanair expands the number of destinations with, for example, Portugal, Spain, Ibiza, Greece and Poland. Ryanair also flies twice a week to Paphos in Cyprus from August 3, the airline recently announced.

Transavia is also increasing the number of flights from July. From Thursday 2 July, more flights and destinations will be added to, for example, Greece, the Canary Islands, Spain and Croatia. Transavia resumed flying at Eindhoven Airport on June 18 to destinations in a few countries (Portugal, Spain, Italy).

Airline Wizz Air will also fly more again. This airline mainly flies to destinations in Eastern Europe such as Poland, Romania and Bulgaria. Wizz Air also flies three times a week to Tirana in Albania from Thursday 2 July. In addition, this company provides daily flights to Milan Malpensa Airport from 3 July.

Eindhoven Airport takes measures to travel safely and responsibly. For example, wearing a face mask is mandatory for all travelers (from 13 years) and employees. In addition, travelers flying abroad from Eindhoven Airport need a health certificate. For the time being, the terminal is only accessible to passengers and employees. More information about the measures, frequently asked questions and the health declaration. Look at: https://www.eindhovenairport.nl/nl/corona
