Ryanair Strengthens Connectivity from RIX Riga Airport to Spain This Winter Season
Ryanair will resume direct flights between Riga and Barcelona from 27 October, with services operating four times a week throughout the winter season – on Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays. Compared with Winter 25/26, Ryanair will increase capacity on the Barcelona route by 43%, adding 5,000 seats and increasing the schedule from three to four weekly flights.
The airline is also expanding its Malaga service, increasing capacity by 78% and adding 9,000 seats. Flights to Malaga will increase from three weekly services in Winter 25/26 to five weekly services in Winter 26/27.
The resumption of the Barcelona route, together with the increased capacity to both Barcelona and Malaga, will make Spain an even more accessible destination for autumn and winter travel, offering passengers greater flexibility and more travel options.
