According to the report of the International Council of Airports (ACI), Vnukovo International Airport in the first half of 2019 became the third in Europe in terms of passenger growth in its group (airports with passenger traffic from 10 to 25 million passengers per year). According to the report, the passenger flow of Vnukovo Airport for the first half of the year grew by 13.8%. In May 2018, Vnukovo International Airport became a member of the European branch of the International Airport Council ACI EUROPE, which is the only global organization of airport operators. ACI Europe currently represents over 500 airports in 45 countries. ACI member airports serve 90% of commercial air travel in the European Region - 2.3 billion passengers, 21.2 million tons of cargo, 25.7 million flights annually.

In 2018, Vnukovo International Airport broke a historical record and served 21,478,000 passengers, which is 18.4% or 3 million 340 thousand passengers more than in 2017.
