Lufthansa Anniversary Flight to ZRH
100 years ago, 6 April 1926, Lufthansa operated one of its two very first flights to Dübendorf (Zurich).
Yesterday, 6 April 2026, the Lufthansa Boeing 787 Dreamliner operated the airline’s anniversary flight with a special livery from Berlin to Zurich — exactly 100 years after Luft Hansa’s maiden flight. This time, however, the destination was Zurich Airport rather than the airfield of Dübendorf. 1926, 100 years ago, the Fokker FII Grulich had to land three times between the German capital and Dübendorf.
Hundreds of guests watched the landing yesterday from the obersavtion deck during a water salute and further celebration activities.
