Aeroportos Brasil Viracopos confirms participation in FITUR 2026 in Madrid
Participation reinforces the airport’s institutional presence on the international stage
Aeroportos Brasil Viracopos (ABV), the concessionaire of São Paulo - Campinas Viracopos International Airport, has confirmed its participation in FITUR – the International Tourism Trade Fair – to be held from 21 to 25 January 2026 in Madrid, Spain. FITUR is one of the world’s leading tourism forums, bringing together destinations, airlines, airport operators, public authorities, and institutions linked to aviation and tourism development.
ABV will be represented by its Airline Business Manager, Sérgio Joau, who will attend the event with a focus on strengthening the institutional positioning of Viracopos International Airport and expanding relationships with airlines, tourism operators, destinations, and other key industry stakeholders.
Participation in FITUR enables engagement with strategic markets and close monitoring of trends impacting international tourism and aviation, supporting the identification of opportunities related to air connectivity and the development of institutional partnerships.
ABV’s presence at FITUR 2026 is supported by SETUR-SP (São Paulo State Secretariat for Tourism and Travel) and InvestSP (São Paulo State Investment and Competitiveness Promotion Agency), reinforcing institutional alignment in promoting the State of São Paulo as a competitive, well-connected destination prepared to attract investment, visitors, and new air services.
