About The Airport

San Antonio International Airport (SAT) strives to be an economic asset to continuing the growth of the Greater San Antonio Region. San Antonio, Texas is one of the fastest growing metro areas in the United States. 2024 was SAT's busiest year with over 11 million passengers passing through the airport's two terminals. 

In response to a growing region, SAT is expanding the airport terminals. A Ground Load Facility (GLF) will be added to existing Terminal A by 2025 and a brand-new, up to 17 gate third terminal is set to come online in 2028. 

With 11 air carriers and nonstop service to 48 destinations throughout the U.S. and Mexico, SAT looks forward to continue to expand in lockstep with the surrounding region.
