The capital port served in June 1.78 million people (increase by 2.4 percent year on year). Since the beginning of the year, more than 8.59 million passengers have used the services of the airport, which is an increase of 7.4%. About 7.76 million people traveled in international traffic (an increase of approx. 8%), and almost 837 thousand. in domestic traffic (increase by over 2%).

In June 2019 LOT Polish Airlines launched a long-haul route to Miami (it is already 5 connections from Warsaw to the USA) and to Beirut (5 times a week), and increased the frequency of cruises to Zielona Góra (4 days a week twice a day, Saturday and Sunday after one cruise). The next long-distance connections between LOT Polish Airlines - Delhi, Colombo and Beijing Daxing are planned to be launched soon.

It is worth noting that the upward trend was maintained despite one of the two runways excluded from use. Modernization works on DS. 1 ended on June 30. Currently, air operations are already taking place on both roads.
