Fellini Airport launches flight to Wroclaw

Rimini San Marino International Airport expands its summer routes with a direct flight operated by Ryanair to Breslavia, strengthening connections with Poland and Eastern Europe and reinforcing Rimini’s role as a tourism hub. AIRiminum CEO Corbucci “Poland is becoming an increasingly strategic market.” Regional Tourism Councilor Frisoni adds, “The new route will facilitate connections, enhancing relations with the Polish market.” Mayor Sadegholvaad comments, “This is an important new sign ahead of Routes Europe 2026.”

Rimini, October 24th — Fellini Airport in Rimini further enriches its flight offerings: starting  on Sunday (March 29), a new direct flight to Breslavia (Wroclaw), operated by Ryanair, will be in service. This new route complements the already established connection with Krakow, which Ryanair is expected to strengthen during the upcoming summer season. In Breslavia, Rimini's airport will be connected twice a week (Sunday and Thursday) with a Boeing 737-800 aircraft holding 189 seats.

The route, which will operate until October 22nd, is the first new initiative announced by Ryanair for 2026, adding to the eight destinations already confirmed by the airline for next summer. Leonardo Corbucci, CEO of AIRiminum, declared “With this new route, we are adding a Polish destination that has increasingly become a popular tourist spot in recent years, alongside the well-established Krakow route. It’s crucial to boost connections with Poland, which has now established itself as a strategic market for the Riviera, to the great satisfaction of all tourism operators. Our commitment for the upcoming season is to continue expanding our network and further strengthen the strategic role of our airport.”

Regional Tourism Councilor Roberta Frisoni expressed her satisfaction: “Polish tourists’ interest in Emilia-Romagna is growing,” she commented. “This is evidenced by the increase of +11.1% in overnight stays and +13.9% in arrivals recorded between January and August this year, with the Riviera accounting for 55.2% of Polish arrivals and 70.2% of Polish overnight stays in the region. This success is also thanks to numerous articles and TV features about our vacation offerings published in Poland’s main media, supported by educational tours organized by the regional tourism promotion agency.

However, effective promotion must be supported by easy, quick, and efficient connections. In this sense, the new Rimini-Breslavia route announced by Fellini will help make our region even more connected and accessible to Europe this summer.”

The Mayor of Rimini Jamil Sadegholvaad expressed great satisfaction with the new connection: “This route,” he said, “gives substance to the effective collaboration among AIRiminum, Apt, and the coastal municipalities in the development of Rimini Airport and the promotion of our territory. After the arrival of numerous foreign airlines in 2025, linking Rimini Airport to all of Europe, and ahead of the important strategic event Routes Europe 2026, this new development is an encouraging sign of our internationalization effort, strengthening our ties with a rapidly growing market like Poland.”
