KEF Airport welcomes Air China to the KEF network

The new service marks an important milestone in KEF’s expanding international route network.

We are delighted to announce a significant new addition to our international route network as Air China launches a new service between Keflavík Airport (KEF) and Beijing, beginning 26 October 2026.

Operating three times weekly, the new service marks an important milestone for KEF Airport and strengthens Iceland’s connectivity with China and the wider Asian market.

The addition of Beijing to our route network creates new opportunities for both inbound and outbound travel, supporting increased accessibility between Iceland and China. It also strengthens the links between Iceland and one of the world’s most important aviation and economic markets, opening new opportunities for tourism, business and trade.

For KEF, the new service represents an important step in the continued development of our long-haul network and further expands the range of international markets accessible from Iceland.

We are proud to welcome Air China to KEF Airport and look forward to seeing this new connection contribute to stronger links between Iceland, China and Asia.
