The St. Maarten Tourist Bureau is a department within the Ministry of Tourism, Economic Affairs, Transport & Telecommunication of the Government of St. Maarten. It is tasked with advising the Government on all tourism related matters, while being the arm of government that executes policy.  More specifically, STB is tasked with promoting the island; overseeing the vision and improvement of the island as a tourism product, through on island projects & by encouraging tourism investment from abroad

STB creates awareness of tourism among the island’s people, not as an alien industry in which they serve, but an economic activity they voluntarily engage in, and can fully participate in to further enhance their wellbeing, reaping the benefits they have helped to create for themselves & their families.

For St. Maarten to be a dynamic, safe, healthy and disciplined society that delivers an acceptable quality of life and is a source of national pride for all, with tourism as the primary choice for managed growth and social development in a fair and transparent manner
