Norway – far cheaper than you think with the Explore Norway offer

Norway is hardly known to be on the cheap, and while we still have a way to go on the Spanish it has never been a financially better time to go. The airline Widerøe and the hotel chain Scandic are this summer introducing a package offering travellers the opportunity to fly and stay 14 days across all of Norway for less than £660.

The deal ‘Explore Norway’ means that you can fly unlimited between Bergen in the west to the Lofoten Islands in the North, and stay anywhere in between for the set amount of approximately £660. The unique cooperation is valid for two consecutive weeks between 18 June- 27 August 2015.

The strong pound against the weak Norwegian krone is also doing its part, with travellers getting 16% more for their sterling this June compared to 2014.

However some of the best things in life are free, and this is truly the case in Norway. Combine the Explore Norway offer with a hike up the iconic Pulpit Rock which gives a 2000 feet view of the Lysefjord, or a fishing trip from the shore of Ålesund, the art nouveau city in the fjord region.

Notes to editor:
The package combines Widerøe’s ‘Explore Norway Ticket’ offering unlimited travel all over Norway for two weeks from £330 per person and the Scandic Hotels offer of 13 nights at one of their 70 hotels all over Norway for £330 per person. The offer is limited to 18 June-27 August 2015.
