How to attend and benefits

If you represent an industry supplier and wish to make serious contacts and cultivate more business with the world's airports and airlines, then you simply cannot afford to miss Routes.

When Routes was launched, the core of the event was one-to -one meetings between airlines and airports to discuss air service opportunities.  However, over the last 14 years a new part to the event has evolved, and Routes is now an important aviation trade show in its own right serving the air transport community.

This year's event will be held in the Olympic city of Beijing at the new Beijing International Exhibition Centre and is expected to attract over 2,500 delegates from the world's airports and airlines over a three day period gathered to shape the commercial aviation scene of the future.

Routes is a focused business to business event and is not open to the public.  The value of participation lies in the quality of the delegates and the fact that all delegates attend for the full 3 day duration of the event.

Who are our delegates

Our airport delegates range from Chairman, CEO and MD level to Commercial Directors and Business Development Managers from the smallest regional airports to the largest international hubs in the world.

Our airline delegates are made up from Airline Management in decision making positions within their company, and in several cases their procurement section is also represented.  If you wish to reach senior management from the world's airlines networking planning departments or senior management, you can be sure to have an audience.

We expect over 850 airport delegates at the event, representing over 600 airports specialising in both passenger and cargo operations.

Our exhibitor delegates are a mix of airports, commercial suppliers to airports, and commercial suppliers to airlines.

Showcase your product/services on an exhibition stand

If you would like to influence the airport and airline executives attending Routes this year with your products and services, then you should consider exhibiting on a stand at Routes 2009.  The stands are located in the "Networking Village", which is the exhibition hall area of the event, where general networking takes place throughout the 3 days of Routes.  This is where the refreshments and lunches are served and also where the Welcome Reception takes place on the Sunday afternoon to officially open Routes.

Routes also offers exhibitors access to the Hospitality Programme offering additional networking opportunities with airport and airline executives, including a Saturday Night Reception; Gala Dinner; Networking Lunches and Farewell Reception on the last evening.

In these difficult times it has never been more important to maintain your presence in the market place, and Routes will give you a unique opportunity to gain access to some of the most influential management from the world's airports and airlines.

The Extra Meetings System is available to industry suppliers, through which you can request, whilst at the event, an unlimited number of one-to-one meetings with the airline and airport delegates.

The quality of the Routes delegates is second to none with top level management and key decision makers in attendance from five continents.  See below for the type of delegate you would have the opportunity to meet:
