Our History
As the national airline of the Republic of Seychelles, Air Seychelles is a pillar of tourism, the island nation’s strongest and growing economic sector.
Established in 1978, Air Seychelles operates 160 domestic flights a week throughout the archipelago, as well as domestic charter services. The airline began long-haul service in 1983 and now offers international flights to Abu Dhabi, Johannesburg and Mauritius, operated by an A330-200 aircraft.
Our Future
Working with our partner, Etihad Airways, we are shaping a new future for Air Seychelles.
Our plans include the delivery of two Airbus A330-200 aircraft, launch of services to Beijing in early 2013, increased frequencies to key international destinations, and extended codeshare operations to open up a potential network of 76 passenger destinations in 50 countries.
We continue to ’Fly the Creole Spirit’, soaring to new heights.
