JAA Selects New Director of Aviation Management
Tony Cugno Brings Strong Operations Experience to Jacksonville Airports
The Jacksonville Aviation Authority (JAA) has recently promoted Tony Cugno to Director of Aviation Management.
Cugno's new role entails the operational oversight of Jacksonville International Airport (JAX), Craig Airport (CRG) and Herlong Airport (HEG). Cugno has been employed with JAA since 2002.
In 2004, Cugno worked alongside JAA's overall Super Bowl Coordinator to create and implement all operational strategies for Jacksonville's four airports during Super Bowl XXXIX. Prior to his promotion, Cugno held management positions with both JAX and CRG.
"Tony Cugno has demonstrated the leadership ability necessary to manage JAX and provide oversight of Craig and Herlong," Executive Director and CEO of JAA Steve Grossman said. "We are thrilled to promote Tony into this vital leadership role."

A North Carolina native, Cugno earned his Bachelor's degree in Aviation Management and a Master's degree in Business Administration from Jacksonville University.
