Facts (Overview)

Orlando Sanford International Airport (SFB) is the smaller, and least expensive, of the two international airports serving Orlando.  SFB is located 19 miles North of downtown Orlando along the 417 Expressway and within 50 minutes drive of both Disney and Daytona Beach.  The airport is a true international facility with 12 Gates (all with jet bridges), 28 Immigration inspection positions and Florida's largest Duty Free shopping venue.  SFB is home to Allegiant Air's and is its second largest base with nonstop service to 40 markets.  In addition, the Airport regularly handles Trans-Atlantic and South American flights from Thomas Cook, Thomson, Monarch, ArkeFly, Icelandair, and SST.  SFB anticipates handling over 1.8 Million passengers in 2012.
