WAW Preludium Executive Lounge the best in the world

Clients of the Priority Pass program salon have decided that Preludium Executive Lounge at Warsaw Chopin Airport was the best airport lounge in the world in the Best Business Facilities category.

Priority Pass card users have voted that Preludium lounge offers the world's best facilities for people traveling on business. The competition was very high. Second place in this category took Marhaba Lounge at the airport in Dubai, and in the previous years the laureates in this category were, among others, Wingtips Lounge (New York JFK), Dilmun Lounge (Bahrain), Swiss International Airlines Lounge (Zurich).

Preludium lounge gained recognition among the passengers because of the comfortable conditions for business travelers, impeccable service and unique decorative walls, covered with live moss. Priority Pass prize was awarded for the first time to a Polish airport. Broadening of cooperation in 2015 under the Priority Pass program, offering additional customer loyalty services had a significant influence.

- It is a great honor for us, especially that the prize is awarded based on the votes of the passengers. Chopin Airport has entered this way the first league of the best and most business passengers’ friendly airports in the world. This award shows our profile perfectly and the direction of further development. I want to emphasize that we owe this award to the commitment and enthusiasm of our employees and I would like to thank them very much - said Mariusz Szpikowski, director of Chopin Airport.

The interior design of the lounge was created by Stoprocent Architects studio. When designing, the architects were inspired by the Polish nature and landscapes. Thus, among others, on the floor you can find a pattern referring to the plowed fields in the Mazovia regions, partitions resemble coastal rushes of the Mazurian lakes, buffet zone arrangement zone refers to the branches of the oak trees of Bialowieza.

In this year's ranking of the Priority Pass, over 60,000 surveys and reports were cast. The reviews were submitted through the Internet site and Priority Pass app. Members voted by such criteria as overall quality of the lounge, drinks, staff, facilities and business atmosphere.

- We are proud to have the world’s largest independent lounge membership program which provides access to over 1,000 lounges in key destinations across the globe. Winning lounges must demonstrate the strongest commitment to individual excellence and investment in customer experience - said Stephen Simpson, Global Marketing Director for Priority Pass.
