About The Airline
Saudi Arabian Airlines (SAUDIA) is the national flag carrier of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. As an economic enabler for the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia; the company's motto is " The wings of Kingdom's Vision 2030". The ambitious plan is targeting 100 million tourists and more than 330 million airport pax a year by 2030. Saudia is key player to achieve these targets. The 76 years old airline is a member of the International Air Transport Association (IATA) and the Arab Air Carriers Organization (AACO).
In 2019 the airline carried more than 33 million passengers and flew to more than 90 destinations across four continents. SAUDIA flies mix of Airbus and Boeing aircraft, with the latest aircraft types, including the Boeing 777-300, Boeing 787 Dreamliner and Airbus A330 Regional, of which SAUDIA is the Global Launch Customer and Operator. By 2024 Saudia's fleet will be 168 Aircraft.
SAUDIA is currently on an accelerated transformation track, revitalizing every aspect of its airline business, from operations, to fleet management, network growth and optimization; guest experience and expanding Hajj and Umrah capacity.
In 2021 SAUDIA was rated by APEX as a Global 5-Star Airline. In the same year, SAUDIA was also awarded as the most improved airline by SkyTrax and announced YouGov top Nationwide Brand Recognition.
SAUDIA is a member of SKYTEAM alliance since 2012 along with 20 other airlines. The airline has codeshare partnership with: Garuda Indonesia, Czech Airlines, Etihad Airways, China Southern Airlines, Air France, Royal Air Maroc, Alitalia, Korean Airlines, KLM, Middle East Airlines, Aeroflot, Air Europa and Oman Air.
