Likewise, SKY passengers traveling from Peru and Chile will also be able to reach Europe via Brazil, connecting with TAP flights.
March 17, 2025 – SKY Airline has signed an interline agreement with TAP Air Portugal, allowing passengers of the Portuguese carrier to travel to Lima and Santiago by connecting at destinations in Brazil where both airlines operate, such as São Paulo, Rio de Janeiro, Florianópolis and Porto Alegre, through the purchase of a single ticket that includes all required flight segments.
“At SKY, we are delighted to announce a new interline agreement, this time with Portugal-based TAP, one of Europe’s most prestigious airlines. We are confident that this partnership will open up a world of opportunities for travelers wishing to explore Chile and Peru via Brazil, as well as for Chilean and Peruvian passengers seeking to travel to Europe with a simple and comfortable travel experience. Through this alliance, passengers will be able to purchase a single ticket for the entire journey with check-in through to the final destination. This is the first interline agreement we have implemented this year, with the goal of further strengthening our regional connectivity network and contributing to tourism between Europe and Latin America,” said Julio Solar, SKY’s Manager of Strategy, Network and Alliances.
Ticket sales are already available on TAP Air Portugal’s website, allowing TAP travelers to purchase tickets to Lima or Santiago as their final destination, with a stopover in Brazil, operated in connection with SKY.
It is worth noting that SKY has made available to TAP travelers its flights to the Chilean capital departing from cities such as São Paulo, Rio de Janeiro, Florianópolis, Salvador de Bahia, Porto Alegre and Belo Horizonte (during the seasonal operation of this route from late June). Likewise, TAP travelers will be able to reach Lima by connecting in São Paulo, thanks to SKY’s daily flights between the Brazilian city and the Peruvian capital.
The agreement also includes the option for SKY passengers departing from Chile and Peru to travel to Europe by connecting with TAP flights from Brazil.
