New route Milan BGY-Kuwait City
Kuwaiti low-cost carrier Jazeera Airways will launch a new direct air service between Kuwait City and Milan Bergamo Airport on May 20, with flights operating three times per week, on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays.
Services will be maintained with Jazeera Airways’ modern Airbus A320neo aircraft.
Tickets for the new route are now available for purchase through the airline’s website.
The launch represents the first direct air link between Milan Bergamo Airport and Kuwait, further strengthening the airport’s connectivity with the Middle East and expanding travel options for both leisure and business travellers.
The new service is expected to stimulate inbound tourism to Northern Italy while also providing convenient access to Kuwait and onward connections across the Gulf region.
Commenting on the announcement, Giacomo Cattaneo, Director of Commercial Aviation,
Marketing & Communications at SACBO, said: “The launch of Jazeera Airways’ new Kuwait City service represents an important addition to Milan Bergamo Airport’s route network and further underlines our growing appeal to airlines from the Middle East. This new connection opens fresh opportunities for tourism, trade and cultural exchange, while offering our passengers greater choice and improved access to an increasingly important market.”
Jazeera Airways is Kuwait’s leading low-cost carrier and operates an expanding network across the Middle East, Europe, Central and South Asia. The airline is known for its competitive fares, modern Airbus A320 fleet and flexible travel options, catering to both point-to-point and connecting passengers. It operates from its own dedicated terminal at Kuwait International Airport.
Kuwait City, the country’s capital and principal economic hub, serves as a key gateway to the
Gulf region. The city is an important centre for finance, commerce and energy, while also offering a growing tourism profile, blending modern architecture with cultural heritage. The new service is expected to stimulate two-way travel between Northern Italy and Kuwait, supporting tourism, business links and visiting-friends-and-relatives traffic.
