Among the shortlisted candidates, Cam Ranh International Airport (CRTC) has earned a place in the category of airports handling between 5 and 10 million passengers annually.
Cam Ranh is the only airport from Vietnam to be featured in this year’s shortlist, joining five other international airports: Adelaide (Australia), Macau (China), Malta, Newcastle (UK), and Stuttgart (Germany).
